You're right, they sound like Bronx b-sides. But the album itself has a rather different feel than the Bronx, especially the Bronx new album. Both great.

i was thinking about how much credit is chalked up to rollins for making damaged so great but, though he was awesome, alot of the extra heavyness and aggressiveness came from adding dez on guitar and dez was twice as vicious as rollins was on vocals

I barely even heard Black Flag, but I know their whole history from this book my friend (littlepuppetboy) lent me. I want to check out some of their stuff
