You don't need to use toothpaste to brush your teeth, although it does help. The most important thing is the brushing.

Chewing gum and citrus fruit is good but citrus fruit juice is bad.

Crisps are worse than chocolate because they stick in your teeth longer.

There has been no proven link between chewing gum and cancer.

And no, believe it or not, I'm not a trained dentistman.

I use a sonicare. they are worth the money.

When i was 15 i used to chew cinnamon gum all the time. The back of the pack bless its socks, let me know that some of its ingredients caused tumors in lab rats.
Back then i didn't really care. Now I don't do fake sugar. Full stop.

i used to but i dropped my toothbrush on the ground last week and probably won't bother until i can get a free one from somewhere

The sweeteners used do cause cancer in rats.

I'm not a gum defender. I always avoid artificial sweeteners and processed food generally.

i'd like a new toothbrush, i just have the regular kind. I bought han solo an elec one in an attempt to make it *fun*. It worked for all of three days.. Then it got boring, or something.

I get that pretty bad too, I got this stuff from my doctor called omeprazole and it pretty much changed my life.
My teeth are in perfect condition though.

really? i've been curious about them for a while but was hesitant to drop £100 on a tooth brush incase it didn't live up to the billing

floatingslowly 03.03.2010 10:14 AM

since I've started using it, I haven't had any cavities.

I've seen them advertised at Target for $50usd.

I brush my teeth 1 to 3 times a day. Depending on the availability of my time. Nothing worse than having a mouth full of ass breath.

Sonic Youth 37 03.03.2010 11:07 AM

Guy, about 3 times a day, circular motion

there are different models. the 50 dollar one has bad reviews. you are not using the 50 dollar one. you are using the 150 dollar one.

as far as omeprazole.... if they've started selling lansoprazole over there yet.... it's 1000 times better. fo srs.

Derek 03.03.2010 12:18 PM

I only really brush my teeth in the morning... I forget at night.

floatingslowly 03.03.2010 12:29 PM

the thought of a $150 toothbrush makes me feel ill.

I suppose that's cheaper than a filling, and yes, it works great, but yikes!

SONIC GAIL 03.03.2010 12:52 PM

^My mother in law gave me one of those. But it broke. They work well though.

dead on, although i brush mine mid-day cause i wake up at noon. plus i do a good job of it, my dentist actually complimented me.

Pookie 03.03.2010 02:09 PM

If you're only going to brush your teeth once a day, surely the evening is best, otherwise all of that food is eating away at your teeth and gums all night :( .
