it's funny you should say that, I'd love to play that game again, but the only copy I had was burned. this game was responsible for my first "buy-it-now" e-bay disaster. you see, as soon as I saw it up for $9.99, my greed overcame me and I clicked. it was then that I realized that the seller was in Minsk, Russia. two months, and a costly international money-order later, my photo-copied manual and cd-r game arrived. fucking commie bastards. I know that I've told this story before, but it still burns my ass to this day. needless to say, they had the last laugh. |
america rules. and i like many things about australia. i've spent much time in canada, and its cool for the most part.
|
Hmm I can't say I love my country. I love my city though. Lille is great
|
right on swa.
and i think 90% of the music i listen to is american. we do it better, y'all. sorry |
Patriotism is pretty much the dumbest human character trait.
"Hmm, I can't find pride in something I've personally achieved, but hey, why not just be proud of the country I was born in!" |
I really dont know why I should love any country in the whole world? cities yes, special spots yes, but a whole damn country? hahahaha

thats what patriotism is about. if all those people could just put that kind of "love" into something else |
I like the UK for many reasons, but I'd move elsewhere if the opportunity came about. There's plenty of people and things here I love, but like everyone else here, there's also plenty that pisses me off. And, no, I don't feel any patriotism towards the UK at all, really.
|
i can't stand the current political climate in my country.
but I love the country itself and the people living here. |

I'm a big fan of being British. Today I measured myself in boxes of A4 paper (I'm 6 tall), started a war with the other side of the office, spoke like a pirate, had a conversation about which shoes are appropriate for Eid (the brown ones, if I get new laces), told an anecdote about a man in his wife's bra, got invited to a poetry reading, got invited to an acid fest and had at least 6 cups of tea and as many conversations about the weather.
Meanwhile, in France, fuck all happened. |
i dont believe in countrys.
|
Incidentally, I prepared a list of my favourite people in Europe yesterday:
1. The Irish. 2. The Greeks 3. Fritz 4. Russians 5. Turks. |

Isn't that a bit like being a creationist? |
no. i mean i am aware that they exist in peoples minds and in words and maps and stuff but the concept just pisses me off.
|
i love capitalism.
|
as far as England goes, i don't love it, but it'll do.
|
I love England, very much so. It's such a great feeling to return to this country after I've been away, you have a greater appreciation of it's quirky ways, it's eccentricities. Unlike pretty much everyone I know, I have every intention of living here for the rest of my life. That said, I don't feel "patriotic" as such, I love England for entirely personal reasons, and I don't give a shit about the royal family, or whether our Rugby and Football teams win or loose.
|
Ignore my vote, I meant to vote for the last one. Also, I don't love any country as such.
