here's the lineup for the screening at anthology tonight. it's the edit that'll be submitted to any festivals or museums for screenings as well. some of the sets in the screening version are slightly abbreviated and it's only a 74 minute sampling of the 2 discs.

Welcome back Chris!
Can we have the full list of the bands on your film? |
yes.
to live and shave in LA alan licht's 1970 kim g and the sweetride giffoni/nyoukis wolf eyes hair police nautical almanac double leopards ranaldo/hooker/miller prurient magik markers giffoni death unit jazzkamer heathen shame dead machines mouthus nihilist assault group 16 bitch pileup monotract macronympha borbetomagus three hours or so of noise. i also laced the dvds with ipod videos of all of the clips as well as relatively high bitrate mp3s of all of the performances (ripped straight from the masters). sorry i haven't been around. i've had eye problems since the begining of august. |
glad to see you back mr habib, hope your eyes are ok now.raise your rep points count ;) !
|
Thanks for the list. I was waiting for this DVD for so long.
For people living outside of the USA, or even outside of NYC, this is a rare opportunity to watch all those great acts that we usually only get to hear or read about. |
and an undocumented note of interest is that i did all of the music that plays over the titles, credits and interstitials on the dvds.
|
way to toot your own horn, habib.
|
Well,i'd rather that my love..........
|
well i'll be doggone! this is a treat!
|
looks like we'll be screening the same cut we showed at anthology around europe soonish. unless you have a massive PA hooked up to your DVD player, yr gonna want to see this in a theatre or at a club. it sounded incredible in a proper cinema thru their dolby processor, and played from a large format digital master tape (as opposed to a compressed dvd).
the prurient set was just brutal. the dvd turned out great too. it was nice to finally hold one in my hands. |
There's a cinema at ATP isn't there. Gonna show it there?
|
wow!!!
is it going to be whole of that second list on dvd??? ranaldo/hooker/miller, want and must see it man! |
Quote:
yeah. it's a double dvd. ranaldo/hooker/miller is heavy! |
this dvd is now available from load records, go get it...
